As time gets near let's touch bases on this. Were you planning on going down in one day?

Last year we went from Overland Park down to Pittsburg in the evening and the rest of the way the next day. From our house it was about 375 miles total. We did this all in one day on the way back. It was pretty easy. Then it would be another 200 to Omaha.
We can certainly work something out though.

Glen, as time gets closer maybe I'll hook up and ride along. I think we may be able to convince Don (BCNUL8R) to join in. It's sometimes hard to plan until the last minute, but I'll try.

September 30th, October 1st & 2nd most of us will arrive on the 29th and leave on the 3rd. Hope you can join us

Alright Kip! This will be the first of several rallies we've made that we don't have to ride over 500 miles before meeting up with another member. We will pull out probably around 6 am on the morning of the 29th. Last year it took us 9 1/2 - 10 hours to make the 500 mile trip. Good roads all the way up. We had stopped for lunch around Shreveport and the normal fuel stops.

My plan is to ride down US 75 and on the night of 9/28 stay near Pittsburg, KS. If possible, I am looking to hook up with some of you folks on 9/29 near or in Pittsburg.
