"Joe Legal" works in construction, has a Social Security Number, and makes $25.00 per hour with payroll taxes deducted...."Jose Illegal" also works in construction, has "NO" Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".
Joe Legal...$25.00 per hour x 40 hours $1000.00 per week, $52,000 per year
Now take 30% away for state federal tax
Joe Legal now has $31,231.00

Jose Illegal...$15.00 per hour x 40 hours $600.00 per week, $31,200.00 per year
Jose Illegal pays no taxes...
Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00

Joe Legal pays Medical and Dental Insurance with limited coverage

$12,000.00 per year
Joe Legal now has $19,231.00

Jose Illegal has full Medical and Dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year

That is interesting math. not quite the same here in the midwest where Jose Illegal and all his friends and family are walking around with stolen social security numbers that they can get like popcorn at a movie.
No joke, they get em and get em fast. Bet they ain't filing tax returns on them though.
I know of one place that got busted and all the illegals disappeared for 3 days and then came back all with different names and numbers.

Funny you should bring that up OP I had 5 of them working for me, I had checked there green cards and there S.S. every thing seamed to be right and then one of them tried to get a drivers license and they check his S.S. number and he went to jail after that the other 4 just left and about a week later the feds show up looking for them. Then a few weeks later one of them came back looking for a job with a different name ans S.S, card and green card I asked him where he got them and he said they buy them from a lawyer in calf. Just keep in mind, it aint fair if you have something that those who dont want to go for it dont have... if you have 2 cars.. you should share your wealth... give them one of the cars.

I'm kind of a selfish prick about things like that. 2 things for this new government to keep in mind. I will share my wealth and give up my guns when their new golden boy comes to my house to personally claim them so I can give him the finger in person. I have a huge problem when people go blindly following someone like this. All of congress is banking on using the name Obama to get Joe Taxpayer to agree to all this crap. They are forgetting that Joe Taxpayer is also the guy paying their checks.

We have 2 avenues to use to try to keep what we have fought and worked for. Write to your legislators........ and vote against those who support that which you disagree with.
A total overhaul of the current administration and congress is, unfortunately, not really possible, however replacing a few at a time is better than sitting back and taking what they hand out.
All it takes for evil (poor government) to prevail is for good men to sit back and say nothing. (Paraphrased from some place).
I believe the momentum is losing some steam, but there is a long way to go to minimize the damage. Your voice should be heard, your opinion shared, and above all else..... action in the form of votes and letters.
We are headed towards a Socialist State at a speed that will be hard to derail.... but it can be done.
It takes money to run a government, as we all know, and that money comes from taxes. Government should not be in the business of providing health care to "all" or determining who gets what level of care. Government should not be in the business of ensuring that everyone has equal opportunities..... "life isn't fair, deal with it".....
When government can not collect enough taxes to support their programs (good and bad), they must compete with the open market...... nationalization of companies, banks, utilities.... the list goes on.
History is about to repeat its self if we do not act, and act soon.
