Room information

Ok folks we have room information. The base will be at the BobBon Inn in Kanab. It is a small motel but from talking with them very friendly. According to TripAdvisor it is the #2 motel in Kanab.

Here is the rate information not including tax.

1 Queen
$49.95 for charge
$44.95 for cash

2 Queens
$59.95 for charge
$54.95 for cash

So these are great room rates for that area.

This motel is small with 16 rooms. 6 rooms are single Queen and 10 are 2 Queen rooms. If you are planning to come alone it would be nice to have you double up in the room for more people attending.

They do have a nice patio and grill at the motels. Might be nice in the evenings. We do have the potential to fill this entire motel pretty easy by the potential attendance.

I will be calling a motel later today for a secondary/overflow housing. The owner did recommend two but was going to talk with the other owners first so they know that we are coming as well.

I have had the best luck calling in the morning. They are having an issue right now as his wife is back east handling a family emergency and he works nights so have patience please.

Joel, Tried to book a room and they are all booked. Do we need a code? or do we call direct?

Never mind . . . I got through on the phone our room is the 3rd one called in.

Tell them you are with the motorcycle rally and mention my name. I did call back and left them a message and said that the group was Vulcan Bagger Association.

Not on that trip. She just started a new job and will only have vacation time for the Canadian Rockies Rally. Thanks for the message BTW...
