Port Dover Friday the 13th

Hi there folks i am awaiting membership and didn't see anything about Dover. I was just wondering if there would be any kawaNOW folks there. I will be there for the first time this year. Should be interesting.

Hi Bobcat, I think some one did bring it up a while back, but have not heard mention of it since. Maybe some of the Guys around Toronto area will be going or interested in going. I'm sure a few will chime in.

I've been to Port Dover on the 13th and it is something to see. This summer should be a huge event as it is the only 13th this year and in the summer season. When I went, we left Toronto around 5:30 - 5:45 a.m. to get there early and get a good spot. We left around noon after 4 hours and lots of riders were still arriving. As to your question, I for one am not likely going this year. You could contact eagle as he mentioned in a PM that he may be going. Have fun, it is an experience.

I'll most likely be going, unless it is bad weather, If anyone is thinking of going chime in here and maybe we can plan something, or at least meet up for a coffee.

i will defiantly be looking for the kawaNOW patch hope to see some for sure. I have only heard tails of how crowded it is during the day and the night is ..... lets just say I'll be home by dark.

I figure it will be extremely crowded this year since its in Aug.
It is hard to move around there with all the people, but it is something to see.

I'm hoping to ride down from Soo Ste. Marie to Richmond Hill on Thursday and stay with a friend then ride together to Dover on Friday. Hope to park somewhere near Tim Horton's - I'll watch out for Nomads - maybe I can finally meet 1 or 2 of you there

Weather looks good for Friday so I will be going. like to leave early, about 6.30 am from lakeshore and kipling. gets very busy so I usually am out of there 12 or 1. Will look for nomads at timmies. hope to meet some of you there. Gary

It looks like I won't be making it to Port Dover tomorrow. I hurt my shoulder again at work late this afternoon and its throbbing like mad at the moment. All I did was stretch to stick a piece of duct tape on the ceiling to help a guy that couldn't reach it.
Sometimes it doesn't pay to help out. :(
