ISO Grip Poll
So I finally ordered me some ISO grips after waffling on them for years. All it took was an email from
Value Accessories with a pretty good deal and I bit. So how do most of you install your left grip? 1) Match the throttle when idle. 2) For the best comfort when riding. I'm inclined to mount for comfort which is going to make them not match when the bike is off and sitting in a parking lot for all to see. The OCD part of me does not like that idea too much but the logical side says be comfortable and forget what people think. I'm torn.... Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I have the ISO flames on mine, and I was worried about matching them as well. I matched mine with the throttle grip at idle. The truth of the matter is, it really doesn't matter if they match perfectly, because no one looks at them both at the same time anyways. A friend of mine put his on without matching them, and I didn't even notice until he pointed it out to me. I have the OCD part with you, but it'll be ok!

I positioned mine so they match at idle. The only time anyone would notice is if the bike is at idle and my paws aren't on the grips. Remember my friends, it is better to look good than to feel good.

I went safety 1st, comfort 2nd, performance 3rd and bling 4th when installing goodies on my bike. My ISO grips went in the 2nd category.

I did the Kuryakyn Transformer grips because looking good is everything. Actually, they are very comfortable grips too. Mine match at idle because Kuryakyn mounted them at a rally and that's how they were mounted. No problems with comfort at all - especially with the cool throttle boss thingy attached
