Thinning the herd.

I guess this guy slept through science class in school when they taught Newton's third law of motion.

The concussion probably imploded his brain if not his whole skull.

Well at least he didn't take out anyone else. Won't it be nice if there was a general recall for stupid people?

"Devon was not the kind of person who would do something stupid. He was the kind of person who would pretend to do something stupid to make people laugh," his brother said.

Maybe he is just pretending to be dead

"Apparently, he thought that was a great idea," McCausland said. "His friends they thought dissuaded him from doing it, and the next thing they knew, he ignited the fireworks and he was killed instantly."

"There was no rushing him to the hospital. There was no Devon left when I got there," said 25-year-old Cody Staples, who called it an accident.

It blew his head off, I imagine.

Yikes! I wonder what was going through his head (pun intended).

I guess people sometimes become so familiar with some things (fireworks, firearms, etc.) and forget about the inherent dangers involved. Of course, alcohol was involved and may have been a factor in his thinking.

Maybe the can put that on his tombstone.

How stoopid can you be?????

I wonder if his last words were, "Hey y'all, watch this!"

I wonder if the explosion peeled his head apart like Elmer Fudds's shotgun when that rabbit sticks a carrot in the end of the barrel?

On the bright side he did his self, his family and three generations from now a heapin' big humongous favor.

Is it my imagination or are we seeing more and more examples of the Darwin effect kicking in these days. I'm beginning to think Americans live such a pampered protected life now that the younger set is losing there natural instinct to avoid dangerous situations.
