Another ride in the country

A nice day for a 50mile ride through the Newforest, and stop for a bit of lunch at the Trusty Servant pub in the village of Minstead. They still have the17th century stocks on the village green, where wrong doer's were clamped by their ankles, sometimes for days at a time, while people threw stuff at them.It was not uncommon for people to piss & shit on them too. Proper justice, handed out by the victims,is sadly a thing of the past.

Sure wish I could join you out on a ride . It looks like you've got a lot to see over there . Here all we have is wheat fields . I've got to ride at least 2 hours before I see anything interesting .

And i bet thats all pretty much straight roads too. In 2 hrs i could have ridden through 30+ beautifull country villages.
