First Day of Summer

Either yesterday or today was the first day of summer and if the past few days and today is an indication of things to come, it is going to be a very hot summer. It was supposed to get to 97 or 98 today and I haven't heard the weather yet to see if it got that high. Here in northern Alabama we do have hot and humid summers. As I get older the hot weather hurts a little bit more with each passing year.

We are in a pattern here where it is hot most of the day, bringing on afternoon thunderstorms, and the same predicted all week making it REAL hard to plan any riding. Might just have to put the rain gear in the bags and say the heck with the forecast!!!

Sometimes if you want to ride Jack that is what you have to do. It is a lot cooler riding in the rain anyway.

I watched the weather tonight at 10 PM and the high in Huntsville, AL today was 96 and will be about 98 tomorrow.
