Help: Not sure which drive shaft seal I need

Hi, I have a 2000 Nomad FI 1500...I will be replacing my drive shaft seal and I have the book on it containing the part numbers. I just want to make sure I have the correct seal that usually breaks down. Is this seal part #92055A or is it 92055C...These are the rubber O-Rings, which I assume is all I need...This bike has sat for 10 years and I recently purchased it with only 195 miles on it...I now have over 1500 and the seal is leaking like a sieve...Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I think I would do the o rings and the seal seeing as you are going to tear it down anyway.

Is there any chance you might have overfilled the rear end? It's easy to do.

Hi Scott, I filled it while it was on the kickstand and leaning, so I don't think that's it...Although I wish it was...I drained it again last night and re-filled it again the same way only using non-syn gear oil but it's still running out by the boot...Just kind of wanted to get an idea of the O Rings I need before I tear into it...Thanks for the replies though, Jody

You will need more than the O ring. There is an oil seal on the pinion shaft, this is what is most likely leaking.
If you go to the new Tech area and look in the Part Number section it lists the seal you will need.
Read the shop manual before you start, there is a LH thread on the lock collar and a small setscrew that holds it in place. Polish the pinion shaft where the seal rides with very fine emery cloth, and make a good mental note of where the seal sits in the lock collar before you remove the old one.
