The State Of KawaNOW - Please read

Spring is right around the corner. I know many of you are getting excited about this year's riding season. I know I am.

I wanted to take this opportunity to remind all of you about our upcoming Regional Rally's this year. Whatever you do, please include in your riding plans this year to attend the Regional Rally closest to you. Not only is the Nomadradery great, but the roads that are ridden and the food eaten, is not bad either.

In case you haven't noticed, KawaNOW is up to 1,443 members as of today. Quite a feat from just having a handful of members three years ago. I encourage all of our members to get more involved in KawaNOW now that the 2010 riding season is here. Since we have an influx of new members, I ask that you take the time to get to know KawaNOW a little better.

Check out who your staff and moderators are on the website at http://www.kawanow.org . Also, check out the latest happenings at KawaNOW and keep abreast of everything going on. I look forward to making 2010 a great year for riding and getting to know new friends in KawaNOW.

KawaNOW and FOREVER!

Trip

What a let down, I thought that there was some big plans underway to make Kawanow a state. Or perhaps you were going to carve out a bit of Texas into the state of Kawanow.

Oh and Trip, I have a couple of requests when you pick a state. Lots and lots of sunshine, lots of twisties and sweepers, and no snow.

KawaNOW is a great site and forum! I have been members of several other motorcycle related forums and NONE even come close to being as friendly and helpful as this one.

Thanks Trip and all the mods for your hard work!!!

At least the title wasn't "Free Nomad" again.

For whatever reason, I can't help but click on those.

Must be the Frugal in me... hehe

Well done Trip, it just keeps getting bigger and better.
Now, hypothetically speaking if there were a State of KawaNOW, what would be the Capital?

+1 to all of the comments. And as far as attending the Rallies, my wife and I attended our first Rally in Elkins, WV in '08. It was kinda strange heading to an event where you know no one at all. Just names and words that you read on a forum. It turned out to be the best time that we had ever had on a motorcycle trip. We were able to put faces and voices to the forum names. We attended the Rally in Helen, GA in '09 and are looking forward to the '10 Rally here in the Vally.
