Wanted Audiovox Cruise Magnetic Pickup

I looking for the magnetic pickup kit that comes with the Audiovox CCS100 cruise control, The one that came with my kit got thrown out by accident. Id like to try to hook it up and see if it makes a difference on my bike as I lose mph when trying to lock it in at highway speeds.
If someone has one they are not using, I wouldn't mind buying it to try to get mine working right.

Are you guys sure your servo cable hasn't stretched? I seem to remember something in Gadget's instructions about that.

No its not the cable, or the vacum, the servo cant read the PPM throughout a wide speed range, I can make it work from about 25 - 50 mph or 55 - 70 mph and hold steady. If I try to lock it in lower, it won't, and higher it drops the speed, instead of holding it. I phoned Audiovox and they said that you have to use the magnetic pickup to make the cruise work accurately at all speeds.
This may be hard to install on the bike, but I'll give it a try.

Ring just wanted to let you know I adjusted my cable yesterday and it seems to work OK now but it worked fine when I first put it on also so I don't know if I have it or not.

Thats good news, I checked the cable on mine also, its ok. Mine works great except it has a narrow mph range where it works well. Only works good between 55 and 70 mph.
Below 55 it wont set at all, and above 70 it loses speed from where you set it.
I guess our Post Office still has the manetic pickup somewhere in the dogsled. It should be here any day now.

This is odd. You know, mine has worked near perfectly ever since I first installed it. The lowest I've set it at is about 30 MPH and have set it at 80-85 MPH with no problems at all. It maintains a steady speed, even up steep inclines. I wonder what the difference is?

The guys at Audiovox say its the way it reads the pulses per mile, thats why I'll try to mount the magnetic pickup. I wonder if its a difference between the 1500 and 1600's in torque. A couple other 1500's are having the same symptoms as mine.
Or others have never tried to set them at those highway speeds, and are not aware.

Ring you may be right there could be a difference in the 2 bikes mine is a 1600 so that may be why mine is working now. The post office must be slow I sent it priority mail.
