Our son spent 2008 in Kuwait with the 126th Michigan National Guard from Grand Rapids Michigan supporting transports into Iraq. They all came back safe. YOU do the same. Also remember there are plenty of support staff just waiting to help you when the times get tough. Come back safe, we'll be thinking of you. John & Deb from West Olive Michigan

Beezer I hear you brother!!!! Things are good. Staying busier than I thought we would. I'm at a smaller location so there's not much to do but we can't do much anyways. always on duty. medevac is always on 24/7. When you're at a forward site like I am then the group you are with is very small. Good group we have which makes it nice in a not so nice place. Lttle lonely today ( thanksgiving). I miss Denise and the family. The younger soldiers have a tougher time than us old goats. Most of them, this is their first time away from home during the holidays. Mess hall is making something special up for us. We can't ever get there because we're always on duty.
Beezer..........A painkiller would be sooooooo good today. John and Deb from Michigan....what a small world. The unit I'm with is a national guard aviation unit. We partnered up with our sister unit from Michigan. We are the 238th Medevac.
Radco.....I'm taking you up on lunch.

Beezer my brother.....thanks for the note. Things are well here although the "neighbors" have been very "active" lately. They have been sending us a lot of "gifts". They send those gifts "airmail" if you get the drift. Of course anything sent airmail arrives in a matter of minutes. Other than that all is good. Miss my wife alot. We skype on a pretty regular basis. If you've never done it, it works well for being free. Easy to use.
I'll update when I can.
