new bike

I just recently purchased a 2012 Voyager and I am super happy with it. I do want to do some modifications to it. I would like to get a different stereo or at least attach an AUX plug. Right now it has an iPod plug to it but I don't want that. Is it possible to change out the whole stereo or maybe install a BT some how. Anyone have suggestions or have you done something similar?

Easy mod is adding the MP3 cable for $30 and just play your music selection from your phone. You can also use a BT comm system mounted on your helmet and play tunes direct to speakers inside the helmet.

Congrats on the bike, I too purchased a 2012 Voyager a few months back. Have you heard about the ECU reflash. If not you can read about it here and welcome to the forum.

Congrats and welcome from Eastern Iowa.
There are a couple of threads on stereo replacement, adding an amp and speaker replacements. Search and you will find a plethora of answers.

Ride safe,
Smokier

IF you dont want that I-Pod adapter, we could make a exchange.
You can get MP3 Adapter. I would pay for the shipping.

Look up Ohiovoyager here for options on bigger speakers, and face plate adaptors to use aftermarket stereos. I strictly use an Ipod, but that not what you want I guess. I ddade a Clarion amp and 6 3/4" speakers by Kicker and it sounds great, major improvement over stock. I also have a 2012 Voyager.
