That sound like fun Kris, But me and a couple other Daves usually ride down through Red Lodge over the beartooth and into Cody then Back through Jellystone Park around this same time. It's either the weekend before or after Orofino. I'll have to wait till it get a little closer before I make other plans.

One of the planned rides at the Orofino Rally will take us down into and out of the Grande Ronde River Canyon, more famously known as the "Rattlesnake Grade". We will run it twice...once going south in the morning into Oregon, then back north into Washington in the afternoon after lunch. This is a gem of a ride, certainly worthy of the bucket list. There are a lot of videos on YouTube (just type in Rattlesnake Grade). In the meantime, here are a few pics to give you an idea....
