Turn signals/hazard flashers gone
Yesterday, my turn signals crapper out on me while I was out riding. Discovered that the hazard lights weren't working either. (All 4 corners)
I checked the fuse, antique the issue is not there. I am wondering if it could be the flasher relay. No clue where that is. I imagine the owners manual would be able to tell me, but I'm lacking that little book. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Looks like someone was modifying something and burn through with a cut-off wheel is my guess
Any takers on the subject? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And since the bike is relatively new (to me) I did not notice that there was something missing when I put the ECU back in. There was enough wire that when it dropped down, it ended up resting in a nook between the frame and the top of the belt. It survived I'm guessing 50 miles before it died. Now, the belt itself still looks just about brand-spankin-new. You cannot tell, just about, that it was playing belt sander to a critical electrical component. Yeah, I feel like a dunce right now. |

That belt is made of awesomely strong kevlar... It eats anything that gets in it's way. In your case it was a turn signal relay - and in mine it was a set of pulleys.
I'd rather have been in your position than mine, so don't beat yourself up too bad.
