Please read.....

Since the beginning of this forum back in 2007, I have always advocated an open mindset to how we communicate here.

I've always compared it to like sitting across the table, laughing and discussing a Vulcan issue instead of just typing it on a keyboard. But one thing I've always advocated for the forum is safety.

I feel strongly about making sure that all members have a safe place to discuss Vulcans and that means allowing everyone the opportunity to ask any questions and discuss Kawasaki's without harsh recourse or bullying.

Whether you are new to the forum or have been here for a while, please keep in mind that that is my prime focus... giving you, the member a safe place where you feel free to discuss your Vulcan issues. A place where you can freely talk about Kawasaki issues without fear of anyone pushing their lifestyle or ideals on you.

Thanks,
Trip

I need to get out, or in here, more often. It always "feels safe" in here. You run a good ship Trip.

I know I am fairly new to this forum, but have been on several other forums pertaining to other Kawasakis that I own also. So I'm not a rookie at this. The one thing that seems to arise here is (and this is just my experience) when a new member (or short time member) asks a question or give his opinion, some of the older members , that seem to post a reply on EVERY thread, seem to have the mindset that they have ALL the RIGHT answers and if you diagree with them you are some kind of dumbass or something.

If this were to happen , "sitting around a table" I'm thinking they could be subject to "the bird", a few choice words that start with the F bomb, or some sort a phisical confrontation .

I always enjoy reading what most others have to say, and have learned a lot on here. So I'll probabbly keep reading. But I don't plan on posting much anymore. Just can't take the BS anymore.

If you think this is bad try going on an automotive BMW forum lol!

Keyboards and aliases bring anonymity. We all have bad days. When expressing ourselves we always run the risk of being unaware of our "stuff" peppering our "helpful" replies.

I take the strongly opinionated responses as nothing more than a reflection of that. Gotta take the good with the bad!

The main thing I'm after here (and have always been after) is for anyone to feel safe in making posts and asking questions here on this forum.

There are a few that take things a little too seriously and jump in with a smart-ass comment. And if you don't see things their way, they might flame you a little.

That's what I'm trying to prevent. We've always had an open mindset here. As far as I'm concerned, ask any Vulcan question you like and you'll get a straight answer. But remember, treat them as you would have them treat you.

I can read these posts Brad
It is a long hard cover book like, oh, I don't know, lets say Obama's autobiography for instance, that I am not going to put the time into.
