Coach,
Just got back in town after a week in Cape Cod..Beautiful cool weather, never saw the 70's!
I got a room south of Daytona for Saturday night the 18th. When we get a little closer to the event, give me an idea of a meeting place. Never been so I'll defer to you.
Joe

Looks like I'm going to have to pass on this get together. My daughter is running in a marathon in San Francisco that weekend and I'm going out there to cheer her on. She raised over $4000 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma society for this charity run and I want to be with her.

Guess I'll wait until next year to experience Daytona.

With regrets..Joe

That's awesome! I just returned from the Peoria to Memphis St Jude ride and raised about 2400 bucks so I know what kind of work it takes to get that kind of money.

Glad you have your priorities straight when it comes to the family!

Thanks Mike, Daytona will always be there, but our children may not.

For those of you going over, I am going to leave Crystal River sometime around 10 on Saturday of Biketoberfest and head over. It takes us around 2 hours or so to get there. We need to have a meeting spot. I'm not real familiar with the area other than near the speedway and a few hotels down on A1-A. So if someone wants to pick a spot and we will get it all planned out.

The old Boot Hill on rt 1 across from the Iron Horse has re opened under a new name (sorry I don't remember the new name). I was informed that they are having a BBQ on sat around 2. or the White Eagle further north on US 1.

I have my phone with me at all times. I'll be at the JV football game on Thursday night, so if you see this, just give me a call anytime.

Just got back from the weekend. Had a great time with Dave. We spent some time at the Sppedway looking at the new Venture and Nomad along with a ton of other bikes. Went over to Main St. for a couple hours to people watch...we will leave it at that ;)

Which bikes do you want details on?

People, let's just say that there were some "interesting characters".
