Blue Ridge Pky ride w/pics

Anybody interested in getting together and riding the BRP for few days in August? Weekends or weekday....doesn't matter to me.
Doesn't have to be BRP either.

hey all, the Vulcan rider's reunion is in middle of August and at Maggie Valley. I was thinking of heading up to it for a day or two and then doing some riding in the area. I'd be interested in the BRP.
However, I will be uncertain for a few days. Finally (escalating pain for 9 months) have diagnosis for problem with left knee. Popital Cyst (sp) inside joint. Doc says surgery tomorrow and back riding with in 2 weeks if all goes well. If is does, then I am in.
I'd offer to the floridians that would join me that the first days ride up can end at home I have in Charlotte NC. Let's all discuss

My wife and I may try to hit western NC/east tennessee/N Georgia this week Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday if the weather cooperates a little.....anybody gonna be around?????

well if you get over this way Todd make sure to give me a call and we can meet up I have a poker ride this weekend for my sister she just had cancer surgery (ovarian) she is doing good so her local hang out is putting it on insurance top out and she has a long way to go its on Sunday the 26th. not to high jack the thread we have been talking about trying to ride up to mt Mitchel and camp for a couple of days we'll see and I will post a good week out in front of the trip not much notice but works starting to pick up and hard to plan any further out then that.

I'm retired too sort of. It's called disability. But my wife works so can't always go at the drop of a hat. We might be interested in the BRP and dixie we could finally get together on checking out your seat. Still haven't decided yet on what seat.

LONE?? I ride with my group here quite often my friend. I can't just up and leave town with my fuzzies here. ;)

You could retire...you'd just have to work the drive up window at Mickey D's or 3rd shift a Circle K and make the coffee so you could ride some. I'm actually contemplating that Circle K gig...$.25 hotdogs and free fresh refills on my coffee mug, that's all I need.
