Mike, we won't be going down that road my friend, but I will keep a look out for those mangy deer.

Mike, How is the healing process going? Have you been shopping yet?
I've been shopping and I gotta buncha volunteers shopping to! And aging me on to! I missed one good deal, but I've found another good deal. The insurence company was fair in the settlement.

I only have a little swelling left, and I still have to limp. The road rash has healed and all that's left is a pink area. I'm in good shape, thanks for asking. :)

Got my saddlebag packed, bike has a new to it tour pack rack, and the rest of the family is packing up their stuff. I'm gonna hit the rack after a shower and be up around 5 to leave for Ohio.

You all keep the fort down while I'm away. To Goose and David, I hope to be stopping in the area on the way back on Monday. Depending on how things are going, it should be around late afternoon.

Well, we made it to Ohio in a little under 20 hours. We did a Saddlesore 1000, two up. Total mileage was 1063 by odometer. I think Google maps will put it at around 1050, but still is something of an accomplishment. It was actually Tammy's idea because she didn't want to spend two days on the road.

Don't push yourself that hard or you'll find yourself on the road the hard way!

We will be taking 2 days on the trip back. Tammy and I are planning on staying in the beautiful area of Cleveland, TN on Monday night. The boys are probably going to make it a one day trip though because they want to get back home to enjoy their two days off till they have to go back to work on Thursday.

Depending on departure time that will dictate when we get there. I have to work on the bike tomorrow morning. It has been leaking coolant at the top hose and I just noticed it.
