The ride to Margaritaville

I am definitely interested, but it may be tough for Ann to commit to 2 weeks off during the school year. Looks like around 1900 miles each way for me.

The ride to Margaritaville

I'm allowed 2 weeks of vacation in one shot. That would give me 21 days off. Along with going there once as a kid, this coonass should be able to find his way to Key West and back home in 3 weeks.

The ride to Margaritaville

I have already had a support vehicle commit, it will be pulling a trailer capable of holding 2 bikes maybe 3 and will be carrying tools for any emergency. It is a 7 passenger van so if some of the ladies would like a break they can ride

I also have in the works, that when we reach the Keys we will be given an opportunity to line the street in front of Margaritaville with our bikes and have a photo op with Mr. Margaritaville himself Jimmy Buffet!

I discussed this a little more with Ann and if she can't get two weeks off, we may have her fly one way to meet up with us. This seems like a teriffic opportunity that we just won't want to miss.

The ride to Margaritaville

This does sound like the trip of a life time; or at least of a decade. It's something I'd love to do. Count me as a definite maybe.

A lot will depend on the season. Earlier than April and it may be too cold to ride down from New England.

If Loafer's still in, he and I could meet up and ride down together. We'll be the East Coast leg of the group and meet the main group in St Augustine.

The ride to Margaritaville

I'm in since it is my back yard, sorta speak. Kinda pissed I would only be able to do the FL part unless I head west for the start...hmmm, sounds like a plan.
