I use a single stage Lee (kind of slow)..............I re-load .45 Colt, 9 mm Luger, and .308. I shoot 1000-2000 rounds per year.

It works..........kind of slow but I'm retired so I've got plenty of time. The RCBS should work fine for you.

I'm using a Lee single stage now, but am thinking of getting a Lee Classic Turret press soon.

I have been looking hard at the Dillion 550. Reviews have been good on the gun forums. I am not planning on reloading Rifle ammo so the Sq Deal would be fine, But I would rather have the options of the 550 abit more,, My sons do shoot rifles so I am sure they would use it :) IMO the price isn't too bad!

Steve I was looking at the Lee line hard for awhile, The price is great! But I heard a lot of grips about a few things breaking during a lot of use? I still have my old Lee hand loader for 12 ga, I got it the 70s 10$ US !
But I am trying to decide if a extra 150$ is worth it for me to spend on a higher end press ! Like all things there are good and bad reviews, I don't think I would be shooting daily but maybe 2/5000 rounds a year

From what Ive seen its rare for a Lee Classic Turret press to break, they are made of cast iron. And the few people that do have a problem contacted Lee and they sent the parts out at no charge.

I have had a Dillion for over twenty four years. It is good equipment but is time consuming to set up and adjust. Tool heads are a must for multiple calibers. Case uniformity is paramount for a progressive. I do most of my reloading on an RCBS Jr., single stage press I got in 1976.

Thanks for you info. I have been looking at the Dillion hard but may hold off and start back up with a cheaper press and if I start to reload a lot move up to the high end press! A good excuse to have 2 press's lol
