Granted it might not be the quality of Idahos adapters but when we need something we need it. If Idaho had posted something about "yes I am making some say next month" or whenever I would have waited also but this is the season to be in the garage tinkering on the bike not when the weather is nice like come spring. Just my 2 cents but would have rather bought Idahos but didn't have the opportunity.

Agreed !

Uh, I did LOOK ! The first 5 pages I checked back, were all adapters made for bike. I never said the 344 were all Nomad adapters

2nd, my buddy who owns a Venture, just contacted him for an adapter as well

I agree, the Nomad area he may may have just started making brakets for, but as far back as I can see , hes been making them for other makes.

Fact is, the guy is marketing his product, selling it, and expanded to other makes.

And is their somthing wrong with that?

Not at all, Its all good.

Some very good points brought up from other fellow members as well.

Some concerns, some points about the quality of both jacks.

I wish them both success, cant blame someone trying to make a living in a recession by making stuff like this

As the other person pointed out, along with myself, can't sell something you don't have :)

My research is about done and it looks like I will be able to build these at a price reduction. HA. That is with my machined blocks (thanks to Chuckster!!!). You will see more very soon.

Actually MaKaw changed the frame on the 1700 so that you don't need an adapter because the engine does not hang below the frame. You are good. All you need is a jack.

No charge

Jack Adapter blow out

Received my package yesterday and it is very nice. Laid it under the bike to see how it lined up and realized MaKaw forgot a step on my bike. There are no holes in the boss on the frame on mine. Looks like I will need to get everything lined up mark the holes and get the drill out. Anyone know what size the holes are supposed to be?

Thanks for a exceptional product Bud

No Holes???? That is a first. The holes in the bike frame are 1/4 inch. The holes in the adapter are slightly larger to make it easy to line them up.

Just wanted to add my .02
I got your Idaho Jack adaptor last fall & the Nomad no longer is scared of heights.
The bike is solid sitting on that jack, no more rocking. I would recommend this product, thumbs up.
Thanks for a gr8 product & the green powder coat is A1!

Cheers
