2010 Rally July 9, 10, 11th

2010 Rally will be on July 9,10,11 in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin.

This rally location provides some of the best riding available in the Upper Midwest within the North Central Region.[/*:m:dsc6k14l]
Prarie du Chien, WI is located along the Mississippi River; where huge bluffs jut out to meet the river's banks providing beautiful scenery and great riding roads -- where eagles and other wildlife might be viewed.[/*:m:dsc6k14l]
Rides will include roads along the river both north and south; and on both the Wisconsin and Iowa side -- where you will see a few of the quaint river-towns -- one being McGregor, IA; which provides a downtown strip (with unique shops) lost in the decade of Mississippi River Steam Paddleboats. [/*:m:dsc6k14l]
Other rides will venture out from the river both east into Wisconsin; and west into Iowa that provide winding & twisting roads through the rolling hills and bluffs of the unglaciated area.[/*:m:dsc6k14l]
Overall; those attending this rally will get to experience great biking roads; and the experience of being along the beautiful and Great Mississippi River[/*:m:dsc6k14l]

I will provide more information as the months get closer about the "homebase" and some of the rides.

Hey OP now that GL has an Ultra....he should be able to haul some beer in the tour pack for the rally,what ya think?

I've noticed lot's of love being shown toward me on KawaNOW lately!!

Now I am being relegated to being the "beer-cart" -- gotta love it... I mean, really, you just got to love it around here.

Just no respect anymore... absolutely none!!

I hope you guys like Blatz beer... because that's what I'm gonna bring... all the Blatz you can drink!!!

Well look on the bright side GL. You will always be closer to a cold one then the rest of us. I guess that would make the Harley the most important bike at the rally too.

Why Blatz when you can have Potosi straight from the Brewery at Potosi, WI. Not me, but I know some of these guys will drink anything!
GL, My trip up there keeps getting postponed, but it will happen in the next two months. Hopefully this month. I'll keep a chart of where I went and where I wanted to go. Sometimes it isn't the same place.
Also I'm trying a motel in Fennimore account it is half price to some of the flop houses in Praire du Chien. Will know more about it afterwards.

Hey OP, aren't you going to try and make the rally? It won't be the same without you there. I know it is a long way for you; but really... what else would you rather be doing in July?

Not sure yet. I would like to but I may skip the regional to put money in my jar for national in 2011. If they do settle on Deal's Gap I can't miss that. I will have to see what the $ looks like at the beginning of the year.
