Bride & Groom on my Nomad!

Went for a ride on Saturday last with a buddy of mine and ended up having a coffee at my local watering hole http://www.cabracastle.com/ where there was a wedding taking place and the photographer who is a buddy of mine asked if the happy couple could use my bike (for a photo!) so I said yes and he just sent me this photo which makes it look like they are doing 90 when they were just standing still;

Neat picture!! I'm with Ricky, though. I thought you put a fairing on your bike?

No fairing yet due to the possibility that I might be able to change my '07 Heritage for a '07 Ultra for zero money!

I was telling a friend of mine about putting the fairing, brackets and clocks I bought onto the Nomad and he said I would be covering up a lot of chrome and shined up metal and then he said he would sell me his '07 Ultra which has only 6,000 miles on her and is like new for less than I would expect to get for my Harley so I just put my Heritage up for sale and have two strongly interested buyers already so if that happens I'll be one happy camper as I would have the best of both worlds! I did if you notice put the hard lowers on her after getting them matched to the Pearl Black. They are a brilliant addition. Heres a link to the advert for my Heritage;

http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/motorbikes/3220648

If this works out it would save me a lot of time and expense!

What do ye think?

That would be great if you can get the Ultra for a trade. That would be just the ticket.

When I bought it in Bruce Rossmeyer's Daytona I gave $16,000 for it but by the time I paid for transportation and paid the import taxes etc it stood me around €18,000 which at that time was equal to $26,280 as the exchange rate was €1 to $1.46

For an 07 thats high, my pal bought an 07 Utra for 15,000 in the fall.
My neighbours pal just got a 2010 Ultra for $16,000 from a BMW dealer in the states, but it had 30k on it.

Caddyman, that is an awesome picture.

Rick, check out E-bay for Ultra Glides. That may give you an idea what they are going for.

Yes, a great photo! Amazing how the photographer was able to get the effect of speed and motion when they were sitting still in the original.

Ain't technology grand?

Its exactly 3 miles from my house so it qualifies as my local!
It was once owned by an oil Sheik in the 80's and was for his personal use
and that of his friends. He used to fly in from London on his helicopter but I'm sure it was all religious stuff that went on and that there was no drinking or gambling or pole dancing etc... well on second thoughts!!
