Snow? Now this is SNOW!!!!

It seems that some folks are getting rather tired of all the snow. Heck, even the South has been getting some of the white stuff.

For a new perspective on the amount of snow we've been getting check out the link below.

Now, that is some snow!

Snow? Now this is SNOW!!!!

For a few years I travelled in parts of Quebec during the winter, the snow was often 2-3 feet higher than the stop signs on street corners. It was like driving in tunnels, and a lot of houses had snow level with the eave troughs with tunnels leading to the door. All you would see is rooftops and chimneys. When I went back in July there was still piles of snow melting in some parking lots around town.

Snow? Now this is SNOW!!!!

Reminds me of winters in Ohio when I was a kid. Snowplows used to work in pairs because one would pull the other out when they got stuck.

(no, it wasn't uphill both ways to get to school)

Snow? Now this is SNOW!!!!

This is why I have been moving farther south all of my life. Just the thought of snow that deep makes me happy to live with 110 degrees in the summer. I will take heat any day over snow. I have family living in Northern Alaska and I don't understand how they do it!!!
