I'm interested....what year are they for?
Kuryakyn site says

How do you want to do this? PM me with the details.

Hey Doc,
Have you got the switch covers? I'm guessing you had to file.
I hope not. I guess I'd have to spray them with a silicone after so they don't rust? Nail polish?
Hmmmm maybe I'm getting ahead of my self here. I pick them up today when I head to the cabin for the weekend.

I bought 2 sets by accident.. i got the "show chrome" switch cover replacements where you unhook all the innards and put in new switch. and the kuryakyns. I put show chromes on and they took some work.. the components matched up OK.. but on the kill switch side those cables on stock are ment to slide in the hole, where show chromes was threaded. had to drill those out oversize to get it to fit, then the "dimple" didnt quite line up on the handle bar. it's "almost" closed" on the bottom, maybe a 16th open yet. I'll have to open it up and play a bit more. on either of my bike, I've never had a problem with kury covers.. hope you don't either rick...

I was looking at the show chrome ones, thought they may be a bit nicer, being a replacement, not a cover. Are you happy with them overall compared to the kury covers?

well, I did not install or even open the package of the kurys. I got the show chrome ones first before the kurys' got delivered and realized my mistake of ordering 2. since install was all ready in process I went with show chrome. one thing I didn't know about the kurys, being a cover, is your buttons will be that much more recessed into your switch box. and i wasn't sure on the fit of buttons (could you still see stock switch box through the hole) the show chromes are nice, they have the same symbols ect as stock covers. took a bit of re work as I stated above but no cutting of the chrome parts, just the innards that needed to be drilled. I still have to work that "dimple" spot a bit more so it fully closes but it's really close now. I do like the looks. I have kury's clutch and master cylinder covers and they match together real well.. photobucket and i are not the best of friends at the moment, but Ill be getting pics up of the new ride soon and I'll include the covers..

Borto,
I just got home from the cabin, with them today. I took them out of the pkg. and it looks like they'll fit fine. I have some new Kuryakyn grips I had delivered too so I'll do it all at the same time. I think I have to either loosen or remove both the levers to get the covers on though. It didn't LOOK LIKE there will be any alterations needed. I'll post here again with some photos when I get them on.
Thanks again Borto.
