Drifter Fender

Is it possible to modify a Drifter fender or purchase a modified one that will fit an '04 Nomad?

Possible...yes

Practical...

The forks are wider on the Nomad, the brakes are different, and the fender mounts differently.

Just seems it would be very complicated to do. I am sure it could be fabricated to work.

If it's that flared look you want I'd buy a used Nomad fender and add some metal, fill, sand, and paint. I doubt you'll get the enclosed brake caliper look but you can try. Just a thought.
Good luck man.

Drifter Fender

I bought a Drifter fender and the guy threw in the rest of the bike so I didn't have to mess with putting it on my Nomad. ;)

Thanks for the info guys. I thought maybe someone on here had done it before. I love the Indian fender look!

There is a guy down in Ft. Lauderdale that has done the complete change on the frontend. He goes by the name Jobear on VROC and is on a couple Delphi forum boards. It is a cool looking bike but he has done a ton of alterations. http://jobear2.com/

I have talked with him a couple times, great guy.
