Hello From Remington, VA
Hi everyone, just got a 08 Nomad a week ago and getting around to joining the forum.
After a 15 year hiatus from motorcycles. I'm happy to be riding again. I rode sport bikes for years before the wife and I had kids and put our riding days on hold. Gotta say, I love the Nomad. The only thing I might want to change is the risers. Im 5'9 175lbs and find im having to lean a little more forward than Id like. the original owner had a 4" straight risers and thought about putting them on to see if they would bring everything back a bit to straighten me up for my commute.. I have a commute into DC 2-3 times a week and its 70 miles one way, which equals about 1 1/2 - 2 hours each way, so I should be racking up a decent amount of road time. Look forward to a 2 hours commute isn't something in which I'm accustom. Login or Register to Remove Ads

You could try rotating the bars down a bit, and if that didn't work, then try the risers.

Welcome aboard from Washington.... If the risers you have on hand don't work out for you, check out Chucksterscustoms.com The Phatt risers did the job for me.
