My GMC truck has always had ABS issues. There was a recall on it because where the wheel sensors mounted in the hubs would rust over time and force the sensor to be to far away from a inner disk it picks up readings from. This makes the system think a wheels was locked up while braking. Dealer did the recall, it was good for awhile, I changed a sensor the next time it screwed up, it was good for a couple of years and the third time it screwed up I pulled the fuse, so yeah Tim I have pretty extra lights in the dash too.

My 92 Ford Ranger has ABS..It tells me so every time I hit the brakes... :>)

A little red lite comes on in the dash board..saying "ABS"...its always worked good as I now have aprox 200,000 miles on the truck and the brakes have never needed work !
