New Vaquero Owner
Hi all, I just picked up a NOS 2012 green vaquero, thought I would say Hi. This bike is a replacement for my 1999 1500LC Suzuki Intruder that was taken from me via a t-bone by a Michigan Whitetail. Yes, he hit me from the side and totaled my bike. Luckily I only had some road-rash and a few broken ribs, my bike didn't fare so well. So, 2 yrs. later I have a replacement bike and an angry wife, but she will get over it!

Looking forward to learning more about my bike and what mods are worth making. Thanks!

Thanks all! For the record Jim, it was 2:30 in the afternoon when he tagged me!

I installed the grasshopper backrest yesterday, and it bent fairly soon. I plan on using the original seat bracket as a pattern and welding one up using some heavier material and putting a few gussets in my new one. But I like those kind of projects!
