blemished clearview shields and louvers

I have a Clearview with louver vent on my ST1300. The shield has a hairline crack around the screw. Easy to over tighten.

I don't think the louver vent is worthwhile. 100 degrees is hot regardless and I don't find the air flow that noticeable. It allows a little rain as well.

Next time I will skip the vent and order the cat eyes. You need one or the other so you don't get back pressure on your helmet.
