I hope you're flowing with it lw.... I totally agree with you in every way. Thanks to Trip for allowing us the opportunity to share our love of Nomads and riding.

Whew!! Since "newbies" can only post twice a day ;) I'm gonna lag way behind! Can I reserve #9 for when I've got my 5 stars?

BD - you should see what else Nico's Nomad does in public places.......OMG!!
I can only Imagine V !! Just close your eyes the next time his Nomad mis-behaves :-)

OIC.... well I dont NEEEED it either....... seriously though, I think it would be cool down the road as the forum (club) grows.... I recently joined VROC and it was interesting to see that 24,197 Vulcan riders had joined before me!

p.s. you're just p*ssed you didn't get #1

Yeah, how did you like how I picked up on that? Kinda like ESP huh?

I'm not against the idea. I think it would only be fair to issue numbers based off of everyone's registration date and time. Are you guys willing to do that?

And what format of numbering do you want? 0001? KN-0001? KNOW-0001?

And Nico you're right....if we do this, I'll probably need to delegate that responsibility.

I know how Nico feels...what about you GH...bluetongue....blowndodge....lw....anyone else?
Does this mean we get to go riding soon?????

Nico's new pic is scaring me!

After thinking about it overnight (actually, Nico's picture came to me in a dream and ordered me to do this), I've come to the conclusion that not everyone that registers on the forum will want a number issued to them.

So, if someone wants a number issued, I can setup a form for them to fill out off the KawaNOW website.

Unless you guys feel it needs to be another format, let's format the numbers this way: KawaNOW#00001

As far as I'm concerned, to start out, we can issue the following numbers like you suggested:

KawaNOW#00001 - Trip
KawaNOW#00002 - Groundhog
KawaNOW#00003 - Nico
KawaNOW#00004 - Bluetongue
KawaNOW#00005 - Blowndodge
KawaNOW#00006 - LW

Then KawaNOW#00007 on, will be issued to registered users. What do ya think?

Generally, it should be in the order of subscription to the site. You should have that info, so it would be easy to assign numbers. Any other way would be parochial.

ponch,
Yep, you're right, I've got info on every member and day and time that they registered. However, membership is reaching 160 and I know that the majority of those members would probably not want a number. So, I felt it best to just start issuing numbers based off of interest.

I'm certainly not trying to be unfair to anyone, just trying to issue numbers to those that really want one.
