I'm going to be the first for April 28th.... an expected high of 35*C today here in Yuma AZ.... headed for another short trip down to Los Algodones, Mexico to finish the dental work we're having done. "judygirl" is getting 2 crowns and I'm having one and a frt. tooth filled and both of us are having a cleaning and whitening done. I'm not sure what my American friends would pay for all this but it's safe to say a Canadian with no dental insurance would pay around $800. for just one crown. I only know the whitening is so expensive in Canada that we wouldn't consider it because it's so expensive. Anyway.....our total bill for the things above is going to be $1200...... for BOTH of us !!!! a heck of a deal for sure. And their expertise and equipment used is first class as far as I can tell.
Anyway... have a great day and ride safe !! I wish I was on the Nomad...a lot of nice looking rides down here....mostly Harley's of course...not a Nomad or Victory in sight.

Rick, I would say that $1200 is stealing for that much work. My
wife is having some dental work, and we had to finance it. Morning 41-54* cloudy. Regular doctor visits today for the both of us.

I totally understand that. Cant remember where you're located Loaf but if you have air miles saved up I would definitely suggest a flight to Phoenix and driving the 2.5 hrs to Yuma.... feels a bit sketchy walking across the border and to the dentist but really isnt bad once you find it's all good and the dentist is good. I can pass a name/dentist on to you if/ when you decide. Just say'in......I'll never go to a Canadian dentist again. Ride safe and be well.

So what do you say when's they ask you at the Canadian border if you received any services or bought any goods? Smile with your pearly whites and say no, or declare the service and pay GST on it?

Thanks Rick, but living in Vermont has it's pluses and minuses. We have already worked a deal with the Dentist and she has started her appts. I will pass the info to others here, thanks! Today's weather? Who knows, the weather people here have been wrong more often than right. 43-58* cloudy, my bike has been in the shop a week now, say they haven't gotten to it. Enjoy the day!
