Your settings are for your weight and riding style, so you need to experiment. Your current air pressure settings may be right maybe not. You have at least a baseline, and that is what you work from.

Reducing air pressure will soften the ride but is it already too soft, you won't know till you try. If your current pressure is too high, then adding air will harshen the ride.

If you get a pogoing affect after hitting bumps then adding rebound will help.

My shop specializes in suspension set-up so this comes from HUNDREDS of suspension set-ups thru the years.

Raise or lower air pressure in at least 3 pound increments, which ever way you go that seems to be the right way, then you can fine tune with smaller increments.

I weigh 210 lbs and I also like a softer plush ride. I am running 25 psi and the rebound is set on 2.

I messed with this until blue in the face the factory ride to me is horrible
I'm 210 and I have removed shocks drained refilled with 15w fork oil added 10 psi then 20 psi and moved the setting back to 1. Still not what Im after but better.
I want a Cadillac smooth ride its ok until you hit real rough road then it jars the backbone im not real concerned with race track handling I drive like the old man I am
