Yes, it was an interesting read. I might be guilty of a couple of those bad traits, something to improve on!

I am not at all surprised that rear end crashes by bikes are significant. I observe riders all the time that follow too closely. I always try to keep a 2 - 2 1/2 second gap and more if conditions call for it. What I have observed is that the cars behind me are more likely to allow bigger gaps, too, than they do when behind motorcycles that are following too closely.

A good read.............I suspect we are all guilty of something at one time or the other. I am guilty of inattention.....especially on a two lane road with no traffic. I tend to day dream quite a bit when riding.
