Vaquero radio swap

I don't know any details, but some of you have asked about it, and here's one that was done.

I wouldn't get too excited though. It looks like some of the other custom Vaqueros I've seen, not ride-able, and only for show. So who knows how well it turned out for practical purposes. Maybe the handlebar controls are non-functioning??? After all, the handlebars themselves are too wide too low to be useful. RoaringToyz' first pics of their custom Vaquero had bars like this too.

By the way, where's the knob for the turn signal switch?

Wow, that's a really radical custom. A new seat, bars, larger front wheel, some chrome and a paint job. Oh, and he changed the stereo, too.

Not needed....I don't see any turn signals on the bike.

I noticed that on the rear, but forgot to check the front. Haha. Fail!
The paint and copper foil logo look cool, I will give them that.

In a description a speaker system in the bags was mentioned. Now I'd like to see that bit of handiwork too

I looked for speakers in the bags, but the pictures didn't show them. It's a nice paint job, but I wouldn't call the bike a custom.

I've actually been in contact with the builder of that bike. I'm doing a article on it for Accelerate.

The handlebars were chopped up, re-welded, chromed and they clear the fairing and tank without problems. In one of the pictures you can see it almost at a full left-hand lock. It's definitely the most "custom" Vaquero I've seen. Perhaps modified would be a better term? 26" RC front wheel, raked, custom build suspension, 400w sound system, gold leafing, etc. etc. The paint may not be quite as striking, but this Vaquero has had more done to it than any other I've seen, including Roaring Toyz.

You can definately see the raked suspension. That's probably my favorite thing on the bike. Those handlebars look uncomfortable. Too wide of a stance for my taste. Interesting though... I like the Vaquero with the 20+ inch tire. Looks sweet like the Harley Street and Road Glides do with similar mods.

My only question is if the radio controls on the handlebar still work, and if so, how did they do it. if not was it an easy swap? I find the OEM radio fine but I don't need a wx, sirius xm, etc, I would rather have a SD card and USB input.
