Broken Rib
Did some yard work yesterday and my left side really started hurting. Now a little information on why it started hurting. On April 1 I took a nice ride and stopped at a covered bridge near Oneonta, AL. I walked down some step stone steps and checked out the bridge that is now closed to traffic. On my way back up my left foot slipped and I fell very hard against the handrail hitting just below my left tit. I have to say it hurt like hell. I didn't go to the doctor and I thought it maybe was just a bad bruise or some type sprain. It was Xrayed last night and I got the news that the seventh rib is indeed broken. Now I really have to be careful.

If your breasts were larger maybe it would have cushioned the impact more?

Jeez Gene, take it easy for a while. Most of us know that broken ribs are no fun. Good luck.

Broken Rib
First time for me with a broken rib. Thanks guys for your support as always. They told me in the ER that it will take four to five weeks before it completely heals. If you take a deep breath, or a sudden move believe me you know it.

Speaking from my own experience from last years crash and among other things breaking five ribs .It does not feel very good but in time you Will get better. I agree with Mac there is nothing the Doctors do for you with broken ribs you are on your own there. So you take it easy and hang in there. DJ.
