Driving lights on Voyager
Is there any way to wire the driving lights on the Voyager to shut off with the ignition switch when it is on the ACC mode?
I take the key out when riding the bike and I would like to be able to turn the switch to ACC for fueling up the bike and not having the driving lights on. This way I don't need to insert the key again for starting the bike. I currently turn them off when doing this but sometimes forget to turn them back on. I like them on during the daytime for better visibility. TIA for any advice you may have on this.

There is a way if your lights are connected to a relay.

I'm a retired cabinet maker so that means nothing to me
Does that mean that if I use a relay and wire to the "On" side of the switch it will work? What is the reason for a relay switch?

Go to this thread:
http://vulcanbagger.com/forums/showt...ng+light+relay Use cactusjack's diagram but don't use the on/off switch he has in the circuit.

Thanks for this info recumbentbob
I think I will still use the factory switch for the driving lights and just tie in before the switch for this and do all this in the fairing. Will a 30 amp relay work for this?

Can you not just wire the accessory lights to the running light switch that is already installed? that way you can turn them all off at the same time.
