Jack adapter - Page 5

Didn't work! I put the jack away, then about an hour later, did a "oh crap" I forgot the adapter!

Hope you did not ride in that hour. Ohhhh. This scares me because I do not want anyone to drive off with one of these things dangling under the bike. I strongly suggest that you tie a string between the two pins long enough to go over the seat and tie on a red tag on top of the seat in the center of the string to remind you that the frame is on the bike. Yikes. This could convince me not to sell these things. Liability scares the h*ll out of me.

I don't think this would normally be a problem. I was testing the adapter while I was doing my workout in the garage. Installing, jacking, removing in between sets, so I didn't have my full concentration on what I was doing.

You can stop selling them as soon as I get mine.

Yep Dave, your check is here. I called my machine shop this morning hoping to be able to ship today. He was still waiting on the milled tabs that he has done at another shop to arrive. He did say that he ordered 10 sets this time. I have to leave town next week on Tuesday and asked him if he could have the kits ready for me to ship Tuesday morning. I will let you know as soon as I have more info.
