Met the nicest people

This past saturday our local hd dealer hosted a charity run for the local humane society.

A fellow member, Jerry Stearns, and his wife Dale came down from Fargo to ride with us. They are the first members I have had the fortune to meet in person. They are very nice folks and my wife and I can't wait to see them again in Custer.

Jerry's black nomad is beautiful. He has not added alot of bling but what he has added is in all the right places.

We could have had better weather though. It was alittle cool and it rained briefly. Although behind a nomad windshield you didnt really notice.

Other than the weather it was alot of fun.

I happened to meet another new Nomad owner and got a chance to tell him about our little group too. He was in a bit of a hurry to take off so I didn't get a chance to invite him to ride with us and he left before Jerry and Dale got a chance to meet him. Hopefully he will pop in and say hi. He had a very nice Blue\Silver nomad.

Jerry and Dale were doing some prep riding for the trip to Custer. A day down to ride with us, then camp overnight, then down to Iowa to visit some friends before home on Monday. I hope they didn't run into too much rain and that all went well.

It is just now that I am realizing the folly of my ways. We forgot to get a picture of us together to post.

Oh well, there's always Custer.

I am looking forward to the day when I could go for a prep ride prior to a big trip. Im still in the stage where its always a mad dash to get ready by the deadline. Someday that will change, better sooner than later.

OP, have to agree with you on how nice Jerry is. Met him back in January in Fargo. Looking forward to meeting more nice people on Nomads in Custer.
