Charlie,

You look real pale, eyes are dilated, sweat on your brow, slurring your words....something's wrong...I think you got a rare strain of the Asian Flu...it is called Nobuttinsaddle Syndrome...better see a specialist on May 3rd. Your appointment is @ 10am with Dr. Netnorske and his merry band of interns.

Do not eat solids within 12 hours of your appointment ,drink lots of fluids, and bring your insurance card!

Charlie,
I sent you a ride plan for Saturday May 2, just in case. We could meet you in McCleary as we come through...right on the corner of 3rd and W. Simpson street where the route turns 90 degrees from south to west. There is zero traffic there so we would be impossible to miss!

Got it, thanks. And I think I'm feeling a little dizzy...

I'll be riding over on Saturday as well so I don't have to be in a hurry to get there or back to Richland on Sunday.

Did you send the email to Rickyboy, Wandering Nomad, Bigjohn, Rksaw, Charlie? Heard anything yet?

Greg,
I sent it to everyone at once and from what I can tell they have all at least read it. Charlie is the only one I have heard back from and he is trying hard to get the day (Sat. May 2) off. If he can't do it through normal channels...maybe he will come down with a bad case of "Nobuttinseat Syndrome", causing an unexpected sick day to be used. Not that as the NWRL I would ever condone such behavior....because that would just be WRONG.... ;)!

I do hope Rickyboy (as well as the others) can make it. I have shortened my Saturday route just a bit to better accommodate the extra 50 miles to your place. If he (Rick) rides down to Everett Saturday morning, we could leave about 10:00 and be at your place by late afternoon. It's up to him though...no worries either way.

I'm really hoping the weather plays nice.... ! Come on fellas....what say you?

Sorry guy, I am back in South Carolina and haven't been on the computer much.
I appreciate the offer but my brother will be with me as well so we will probably get a hotel in the area. BBQ and brews are a definate possibility.

Wandering Nomad (Rick)-

Lets see how many confirm. Maybe we can make it work anyhow. But if you want a couple good hotel choices nearby (5 minutes)...The Phoenix Inn in Vancouver 360-891-9777. A little farther away (15 minutes) 360-254-3100.

Greg,
That was very nice of you to open up your house. I replied to Kris and said that I am planning on joining you all on Saturday and looking forward to May. I have been out of the net lately...I had to run to Tucson and then Indianapolis due to the death of my grandmother. But I'm back now and should be in contact more.
Rich
