Vaquero Wiring questions
Well, I'm getting ready to start adding some lights to the back of the Vaquero. Looking for a little heads up from some that may have already done some of this. I'm changing all turn signals out to LED, so I have a load equalizer to wire in. Where is best place to find the wires I need to splice into?
Where can I get a wiring schematic that will show me the color codes, etc. Also have a brake light modulator to add in. Same questions.... Can anyone offer any assistance with this info? I know I can dive in and figure it out myself, just trying to maybe save a little time and aggravation. Thanks,

under the seat, if it is the same as the voyager, all the needed turn signal connections etc are right there, download the manual from this site, it has all the schematics you need in there. http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=13049

I agree with smokey. I'd put your equalizer there. I changed over to LEDs last Summer myself. On my bike the black wire was the hot. Usually on a 12 volt system them would represent ground. I just took it for granted. I actually soldered them up backwards not thinking to check. You may want to check before making permanent conections.

Under the seat, you'll see one bundle of wires going into the rear fender. The only thing back there is lights, so those are the ones you're after.
Green - Left Turn Gray - Right Turn Red - Running light Blue - Brake light Black w/yellow stripe - Ground
