Head'n for the Rally

In about 14 hours that is. Got the fairings done and on the bikes, finally! Did all the fluid checks, air pressure in tires and my shocks. Liz no longer has air shocks. Checked all the lights, changed the oil and filter in both bikes. Got the bags packed but will not strap them on until the morning. Got traveling money from the bank and polished the plastic up for use at motels and gas stations.

Going to make an easy ride through south Missouri. Cross the Mississippi at Caruthersville and spend Saturday night somewhere around Jackson, TN. Sunday we will hit the Natchez Trace Parkway southeast of Nashville and head toward Natchez, Mississippi. Not sure where we will stay Sunday night, it depends on the weather and how much we stop to sight see.

Monday, finish the Trace and cross part of Louisiana on Hwy 84 and turn north on Hwy 187 to Arkansas.

Tuesday, ride up to Mountain Home, AR.

Wednesday, ride some roads around the Mountain Home area.

Thursday, sleep late and then head for Eureka Springs. Be at the Riders Rest early afternoon to meet and greet those coming in Thursday.

Of course all of this could change depending on the weather. If it gets real bad we may be back riding in norhtern Arkansas and southern Missouri on Tuesday.

Either way we will be in ES on Thursday, God willing and the creek don't rise to much!

Jim & Liz
