BEWARE OF BLACK PAINT ON 2008 NOMADS

After a long drawn out battle involving the PA. Attorney General kawasucki finally replaced my fenders on my 2008 nomad. the cause was the front fender edges were not closed properly and the welds were faulty. Kawasucki would not disclose any info about why the paint failed on both fenders. owners keep checking the paint on your 2008 kaw nomads it could be yours next!!!! Now to take this bike for its trade in at the HD dealer and get my new Harley I am done with Kawasucki.

You probably just had a bad fender, seems kind of drastic to get rid of the bike for that.

Bet your problems get worse than a fender with the HD. It is always good to have a drinking Buddy that is a painter, don't ya know.

I thought the paint peeled off because of excessive speed! I guess that should be no problem with the new HD!

Man, some one in Pittsburgh is gonna get a great deal on a Black 2008 Nomad with new fenders no less. Just check the local HD dealers ;)

Sorry to hear of your plans but if that is what you want. Sounds like Kawasaki solved your problems. Now you have a nice bike and you are going to trade it. I also own an '08 black and have no problems after riding it 9800 plus miles. Yours was just an unfortunate thing that happened. Probably the guy that worked on yours had been drinking too much of the rice wine. Can't recall what it is called. Everyone has a bad day and you just happened to get one of the bikes he worked on that day.
