Another Missed Encounter

Today I saw my third Nomad on the road since buying mine last July and for the third time, I was not in a position to make contact. While sitting at a busy intersection in my work truck (second one back from the light), I looked across to see what appeared to be 2008 blue/silver Nomad just like mine (albeit with a few less bells and whistles)...coming the opposite way...also waiting at the light !

I wanted in the worst way to wave at the guy to pull over until I could turn around....but knew it would be a waste of time even trying given the mass traffic around me. Besides...he would have just thought I was some kind of nutcase.

I so wanted to let him know about KawaNOW and our NW region, not to mention meet another Nomad owner for possible rides and such. It is so rare to see another Nomad around here it just kills me to not be able to make it count when I do :'(.

Hopefully soon I will stumble into the right situation where all the stars align.....

That has happened to me a couple times too. But eventually I was able to meet a couple newbies.

Of course once I made contact it confirmed that I was a nut case!

There are quite a few out there that we still need to reach...no rest for the weary.

I'm with you there Kris,... I don't see many here in my area either. When I do I want to run right over and give him a KawaNOW card.

Thats how I found out about this site , Someone gave my son a KawaNow card. He was on his way back to Cedar Lands Boy Scout Camp And ran out of gas One of You stopped to help him out. When he gave me the card and told me about this I only told him next time check your gas. fortunate for me this time he hadn't.
