Just catching the news and it looks like Egor really did a number on Newfoundland. I do hope that our brothers that live there are safe and damage for them is minimal.

CNC, j'espere qu'aucune vie ont ete perdus et que les dommages ont ete minimes. Vivant ici sur la cote du golfe nous maintient sur les broches et les aiguilles de juin et novembre.

I saw it on the news last night. They were hit hard in places, high winds and alot of rain giving much damage. It just missed us but we did get heavey winds! I could just emagine what it was like in NFLD:(

My friends in the Avalon area had trees de-rooted...water damage...some had roof shingles ripped off....house siding torn off...Hydro was out...:(

I don`t think there was any loss of life, a lot of flooding though 200 millimeters of rain in places.
Salut Cajunrider, it must be difficult living in an area where 6 months of the year there is the potential for weather severe enough to destroy life and property.

Les modeles de prevision montre quil tourne nord-est apres avoir demenage au Nicaragua et vers la Floride du Sud. Esperons quil va mourir l'Amerique centrale. Esperons qu'il n'aurez pas gater nos plans en laissant pour le rassemblement Antlers, Oklahoma le mercredi de la semaine prochaine.

We have a vendor based there and they sent some pictures today of the flooding. Several roads were washed out.

Bonne chance Mitch, I hope for the sake of everyone down your way it does die over central America and does not spoil your riding plans next week.

Dan, yes I saw more on the news last night and the destruction of some of the roads is amazing in Newfoundland. One small village the showed has only one road in and so is completely cut off except by boat.
