New 2009 Vulcan Nomad Rider

Yesterday I bought an '09 1700 Nomad with 2600 miles (not a mistake, 2600 miles). I was cautious and worried about old tires and stale gas but the bike rode so strong I couldn't pass it up for the price. I pick it up next weekend. I have 2 other bikes: an '09 Concours 14 and a '98 Honda VT1100. Not sure whether to keep the C14 and I really like the VT style and that is the reason for buying the Nomad. I do have one question: The 2nd owner told me that the V&H pipes that it has were standard on the 2009 Nomad. Is that correct? Seems weird that Kawie would allow V&H pipes as standard on that model and they wouldn't just be labeled as Kawi pipes.

Thanks in advance for any help in getting to learn the bike.

Mike

If it has Vance and Hines pipes, they were probably added at the dealer. I'd keep the c14.

Thanks redjay. Coincidentally, just finished our annual 2200 mile trip on my C14 with a group of longtime friends from Burlington, ON.
