Question Where do we get judges washers.

I have found two different people claiming to make the washers for the nomad, none of them are judges. They want 30 to 50 dollars, which I think is a little high. Where are you guy's buying the washers and how much are paying. I will have a extra Barnett spring laying around shortly, after riding for a month with it, it just too much Lever to pull all the time. It's getting changed. Thanks

I think Chuckster makes them, or at least he used to. Im not sure if he is around here much anymore. See if you can find any of his posts in the for sale forums.

I talk to chuckster early in the summer when I bought my chain extenders, he doesn't do the washers and he gave me Bob Oglesbys (judge) phone number, very much the character to talk to on the phone, but I don't have the number anymore, I will emali him in the morning and pass on what I find out.

Dave would certainly be the most reliable source for Judges washers I'd say.

I got my washers from him and they are good ones. But I have not seen him advertise the washers for quite some time now. Had I seen his washers I would
have directed OP there first.

The problem I have with the washers is they really don’t improve acceleration.
They alter the downshifting drastically. You have to match rpms carefully or you will have Rear end lockup. Using the mean streak spring doesn’t give up the slip feature that I really like.

The purpose of the washers have nothing to do with acceleration. Clutches are about engagement. The design of the washers is to take the brunt of the wear that the clutch spring normally gets at a specific location. Since this wear point is what normally causes the clutch spring to wear out. It increases the life of the clutch spring 5 times over. As far as the downshifting, I have not experienced any drastic lock up of my rear tires since I have installed them. How long have you had your Judges washers in ?

When I bought mine I started by PMing Dave via the forum here. He linked me to some he had on ebay. But that was just before Memorial day 2016. His seller ID is gunsbluemoon http://stores.ebay.com/gunsbluemoon/.

Bad Ace Billet also sells his version of judges. I got mine from Ez On yet they took forever. The Judge did stand up for this guy though and stated he helps him out when busy. You may want to contact the Judge first though. I think Rcoglesby56@hotmail.com is his email.
