Waving Hello from Edmonton, Alberta

Hello everyone,

Well I've been lurking here for awhile but it's now time to introduce myself. I've been shopping for a Nomad for a while and final found one. I sold my 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic to a good friend and purchased a mint 2005 Nomad 1600 with V&H dual bagger pipes and 18,000Kms.

Our Spring here has been very late this year. First chance to ride the Nomad was yesterday. So I finally got in my first 200km ride. So far I'm still getting used to the weight and the Hydraulic Clutch. I've already order Chuckster's 3" risers (thanks Joe). Lots of smiles so far!

Anyone know if there is a Vulcan riders group in the Edmonton area?

That sounds Great Buckey. I'll do that. I'll give you a call before I come up to see your guy's Bike Shop.
Thanks.

Great little shoppe it is very well done for a town of this size. He also builds some nice rides. I have nothing to do with him just live in this town but I would let him work on my ride.

Welcome aboard from south of Calgary! That is a nice looking Nomad that you've picked up. And such low km's!

That's a bit of an understatement! Mind you, I think we've had it better down our way than the Edmonton area, but it has been a very late spring. Hopefully, now that we are into May ....

We've got a little rally happening this August and a few of the Edmonton guys are going as well. You may want to check it out:
