I got the mileage wrong the 05 has 16,000 and the 06 has 20,000 almost the same. I'm hoping to get the 06 for 4800-5. The only thing I'm nervous about is I hear the clutch spring can go and the cam tensioners need to be replaced. My 1100 shadow never needed any work done it except normal maintenance.

Welcome from Ohio. My choice would be 2005 Nomad from your list. Many advantages over the Classic and I'd get lower miles whenever I could.

Don't believe a Hypercharger is really needed on that bike, as it is not really a hot rod and it has plenty of power stock.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I looked up Sweet Evalina's on line. Their Boston Cream Pie looks good. I'm going to have to make it out there either on the 22nd or 29th depending on weather.

I'll have to check it out too. This place is practically in my back yard.

An update, I looked at the 06 this evening. When I talked to the guy yesterday he said he was selling it for his uncle. he said the bike was in great shape and was always garaged. he was anal about keeping all the old parts. I looked at it and good lord he sprayed painted the bike him self. rust on the pipes probably was never detailed in a few years. I didn't even want him to start it. I said I wasn't interested and he came back with not at any price.

I hope the other bike is better than that one...rider and bigred let me know when your heading there It would be nice to meet you guys and perhaps we can ride a bit also. who knows maybe i'll be on a nomad or a classic.

Here's a few on cl

http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/4059067220.html
http://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/4040226374.html
http://newlondon.craigslist.org/mcy/3981821272.html

I'll let you know when I'm sure if it will be the 22nd or 29th that I'm heading down there. It will be one of the 2. If there's no rain forecast for the 22nd it will be the 22nd otherwise the 29th.
